LARPD Cross #1

Well the Cross season got started with hot temperatures and a lot of dust. Not exactly the typical Cross conditions but then what else could you expect on Sept 1st. A total of 93 riders showed up for the first running of this series. The largest field of the day was the combined Women and Men's C groups with 37 total riders. Since we got off to a late start and there was a time limit on clearing the course both the women and men did 30 minutes.

The A race ( with elite men, Juniors and single speed divisions) had the next highest turnout with 30 riders. The Master A race had 17 riders and the B race had 10 riders. Sorry I don't have and results but they will hopefully be posted soon at http://www.livermorebmx.com/ The laps were nice and long with the race leaders in each wave turning laps in the 7 minute range. Made for an easy day for the officials since few riders were getting lapped and everyone was nice and spread out after the end of the first lap. Hopefully more riders will make it out to the next race in the series.

Note for following weeks the Men C's speed B,C, women C and Junior B,C will start as a totally separate wave at 8:30. The women A's will get a separate race starting a little after 9am and the start times for the other groups will probably be pushed back a little bit since on following weeks there will not be a need to clear the course like there was with this first week. Watch http://www.livermorebmx.com/ for details on the new schedule.

Thanks for doing such a good job Casey. I thought things went well for a first race. It was also a pretty good course given the conditions and the venue.

I thought Shane did a nice job with what could have been a real boring course.
A+ on creativity when you consider the canvas he had to work with.

To bad he can't borrow a few of those BMX whoopty doos, rollers, and banked turns. That would be a kick.

Nome i think you would get hurt over any whoopty doos and berms
infact the only whoopty doo you do is dreaming about how good you are,
you cut me off at the last race at livermore(LARPD #1) and your riding tactics are bad
you are rude when you ride and squirely

Right...

Well, I would apologize for cutting you off and being rude, but since you are posting anonymously I don't know who you are and you could be making the whole thing up just to stir up shit (likely).

If you want to give out your name, I'll be happy to make amends in person.

Until then, I am not going to apologize or defend something I can't verify and is most likely manufactured.

It's real easy to make up a bunch fictitious nonsense about someone, attack them, call them names and hide behind an anonymous post so that none of the accusations can be verified. It is also far more likely you are just manufacturing everything you say just to get feathers ruffled.
It is also likely that you are the same individual that does it on OV's blog.

Ultimately you are a very sad and childish individual. With such childish behavior it's no wonder you comment anonymously.
