No amount pre-riding could have prepared you for what came down on that course that day. I was standing just a few turns away from what you see in this video, and I can turly say I've nver seen anything like the insane storm that swept into Hoogerheide that afternoon! Watching the race was hard enough, racing in it was (obviously) completely nuts!
It was great to cheer on Page and "Tree Farm" and to see them both finish top ten. An epic day I'll never forget.

I was the 5th guy in line here, and i made it thru, with just a leg off the pedal. But the next lap I was down in the slick stuff.
also i went on to win!
